Bloody Hell! Dead Island's zombie blood bath continues as Deep Silver has announced the release date of their new DLC, titled under the charming name ‘Bloodbath Arena'.

For those of you itching for a new way to take out zombies, the DLC also contains a new weapon called "The Brain Wave Bomb". I'll leave that one up to your playful imagination.

In case you have forgotten, Bloodbath Arena Dead Island's rendition of a "Horde" mode, where waves after wave of zombies will come at you while you and (if you so choose) three of your friends have to hold your own in one of four different areas, and fend off the invading infected.

You could call it "Mob Mode" or something like "Enough Enemies to Warrant a Collective Noun Mode."

The open-world zombie-mashing RPG adventure plays a lot like you might imagine a bastard child of Borderlands and Dead Rising would: big world, great co-op, deep RPG character and weapon customization, first-person perspective.DLC was promised, but failed to materialize when the dev team shifted its post-launch priorities to squashing some of the game's lingering bugs.
